Having just arrived directly from the previous keeper, this 2004 Concorde Charisma 880F is a truly stunning four berth motorhome, housing a drop down overcab bed, front lounge, fixed bed to the rear and a huge garage facility. Concorde motorhomes have earnt a reputation for being one of, if not the best coachbuilders in the business, and this particular example comes equipped with a huge level of specification. The attention to detail and craftmanship is second to none and represents huge levels of luxury through-out. Looking at the exterior of the 880F you will notice the traditional Concorde graphics scheme, which provides a sleek touch to the body-shape and creates an imposing appearance. The habitation door is located on the offside of the Charisma and is fully reinforced for excellent levels of security. An electric fold out step is found below and aids access into the motorhome, whilst a Thule electrically operated awning is fitted above and creates an outdoor living space. You have an abundance of external storage facilities surrounding the motorhome, whilst a huge amount of space can be found in the rear garage, which is accessible from the nearside and the offside. The garage flooring is hard wearing and is designed to store a motorcycle. Twin gel batteries are also stored in the garage and prove excellent when wild camping. To the rear of the 880F you have a tow-bar along with a reversing camera, whilst external specification is completed with an Oyster self-seeking satellite system and a solar panel, both of which are roof-mounted.
The interior of the Charisma is finished to an impeccable standard, with every area very well thought-out. Cream leather upholstery combines excellently with a light wood finish to create an oozing sense of comfort, whilst plenty of natural light sources illuminate the motorhome through-out. The front cab area has an electrically operated floor, which lowers when required and creates a better driving position. Two seats are provided, both of which offer very good levels of comfort and have the ability to swivel, adding to the lounge facility behind. Equipment levels are also very good, you have: ABS, power steering, cab air conditioning, cab blinds, Snooper satellite navigation system, radio player and air brakes. The base vehicle of the 880F is the excellent Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2.7CDi, further enhanced with an automatic gearbox for ultimate driving comfort. This Concorde has covered just 34,000 miles from new.
Above the cab you have your first sleeping arrangement within a drop down double bed. The quality of the mattress is very good and assures a comfortable night's sleep, whilst the area is provided with good levels of ambience, with a mini roof-light and a spot-light proving effective.
Moving to the lounge facility you will see that a huge L-shaped settee is accompanied by a generously sized side sofa opposite. With the addition of the front seats rotating you are presented with a setup that can easily sit eight. The forward facing section of the L-shaped settee is equipped with two three-point seat-belts, allowing passengers of all ages to travel. Storage is provided in very good levels, with overhead lockers and space beneath the seating proving useful. Main controls including the panel for the satellite system can be found above the door, whilst the receiver for the Truma habitation air conditioning unit is found next to the kitchen. To complete the lounge area you have an Avtex flatscreen television, stored in it's own designated cupboard to hide it away when not in use.
The kitchen area is split into two sections across the motorhome, allowing more preparation space and to prevent an overcrowded facility. On the nearside you have a Smev oven/grill combi, whilst a three burner hob is located above and has a glass cover. A microwave is located at eye height, whilst the sink is below and has a drainer along with a chrome mixer tap. Storage facilities are provided within drawers, cupboards and lockers. Directly opposite there is a Dometic dual-fuel fridge freezer unit, which has recently been installed.
A separation door can enclose the bedroom and the washroom off from the rest of the motorhome, creating an en-suite style configuration. Moving to the rear of the 880F you will come across the main sleeping arrangement within a hugely comfortable double bed, positioned on the offside. There is a step to aid access onto the bed, whilst a large amount of storage solutions are provided, within: overhead lockers, cupboards, drawers and a large wardrobe just before you enter into the arrangement. A roof-vent is also fitted to the area, along with an additional Avtex flatscreen television unit.
The washroom is located on the offside, just before the bedroom. Entering through the door you will find a Thetford electric flush swivel toilet on the right hand side, whilst the wash basin is found centrally and has a chrome mixer tap along with a vanity unit below. The separate shower is on the far left and has a folding door, as well as chrome fittings. Ample lighting, high end woodwork and plush mirrorsa provide a luxurious touch, whilst a mini roof-light is excellent for ventilation.
