Exterior

Serenity Leisure are pleased to present this stunning 2023 Rapido Distinction I1090, which is presented pristine condition throughout. Rapido has evolved from a quality French brand into a European leader within the industry. The quality of this motorhome is simply fantastic throughout, with this particular example having every possible option fitted. It is built with Rapido's unique Novatech construction, which consists of: 100% polyester impact resistance roof, sides and underfloor protection, AL-KO chassis with independant suspension, 30mm Styrofoam insulation, and full insulation of the chassis parts in the double floor with XHP cladding. The external appearance of the I1090 is beautiful, with a rounded exterior design, AL-KO Scorpion 16" alloy wheels and a striking graphics scheme. The carbon inspired premium habitation door is located on the offside of the motorhome, with an electric entrance step found below. Storage lockers can be found either-side of the Rapido and allow access to beneath the double-floor insulation. The huge garage to the rear can be accessed either-side too and is very well lit with a selection of LED sources. The button to raise/lower the bed is located in the garage and the area is also heated from the ALDE Arctic Comfort Plus system. To the rear, you will find a fully reinforced tow-bar with electrics, along with a reversing camera above. The overall external appearance of the Rapido is tremendous, it stands out significantly from the crowd.

Cab Area

Moving to the interior you will discover the genius of Rapido's workmanship. White gloss overhead cupboard doors are of immense quality and combine excellently with the Elegance leather upholstery, creating a cosy yet luxurious feel. Soft touch ceiling fabric enhances further, whilst 100% LED ambient lighting is situated throughout the motorhome. Taking a look at the cab area you will see that twin seats are housed, both of which have the ability to swivel and add to the lounge area, which is just behind. Vision when driving is excellent, one of the main benefits you get with A-class motorhomes. There is a door on the drivers side allowing access to the cab and is integrated into the central locking system and also comes with an electric window. Other cab equipment includes: ABS, power steering, electrically adjustable wing-mirrors, leather multi-function steering wheel, digital dash, cruise control, climate control, 2 x 12v sockets, a multimedia system with bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation and reversing camera functions, cab blinds and an electrically operated front cab blind. The base vehicle of the I1090 is the Fiat Ducato 2.3Jtd 180bhp, further enhanced with the brilliant 9-speed automatic transmission. This example has covered just 4,055 miles from new.

Above the cab area you have your first sleeping arrangement, within an electric jack-assisted drop down bed. Within the control panels above the habitation door there is a button, which operates the system. The bed itself is fitted with a Bultex foam mattress, providing high levels of comfort and assuring a fantastic night's sleep. LED's either side give ambience to the area, whilst you also have a mini Heki, offering fresh air when desired. Plush curtains enclose the area.

Lounge

The lounge area in the I1090 is very well thought-out and will easily sit seven. High density resistant foam provides huge levels of comfort to occupants. There is an L-shaped settee, with the forward facing section fitted with two three-point seat-belts. A side sofa is located opposite and also has a seat-belt fitted, allowing four passengers of all ages to travel. With the addition of the front cab seats rotating you have an excellent setup. The dining table is sturdy and can fold out to extend when required. Overhead lockers provide good levels of storage, and you will also find space beneath the seating, within drawers. For entertainment to the area there is an electrically operated TV unit built into the offside sofa. The operation for this can be found next to the button for the electric drop down overcab bed. Also above the habitation door is the control panel for the Alde central heating, along with the unit for controlling the main functions throughout the motorhome. Overall, the lounge area is excellent, whether you are relaxing, socialising or dining, it will meet your needs perfectly.

Kitchen

The kitchen area is equipped with the highest quality appliances to ensure an easy cooking experience. The unit drawers are finished in a trendy gloss white, whilst lighting underneath the worktop provides a sleek touch. There is a blacklit spice rack and a stylish laminate kitchen worktop with backlighting and inbuilt drainer. All kitchen cupboards/drawers are fitted with electric central locking, preventing them opening when driving. A 2-hob glass stove top with piezo ignition and a 1400W induction hob can be found on the left hand side, whilst an extractor fan is located above and removes cooking smells. The stainless steel sink is to the right and has a chromed brass tap with ceramic cartridge and spray nozzle. Also on the nearside is an electrically operated drop down side unit, which is designated for a small coffee machine. Directly opposite on the offside is a TEC-Tower unit, incorporating a 190L Dometic dual-fuel fridge freezer unit and an oven. Everything has been thought about significantly and has been tailored to create the perfect kitchen setup within a motorhome.

Bedroom

To the rear of the I1090 you will come across the main sleeping arrangement within a fixed island bed. Measuring 160 x 198cm and fitted with a highly durable Bultex foam mattress along with multi-directional springs, occupants are guaranteed of an excellent night's sleep. The bed is electric height-adjustable as mentioned previously, and can raise 30cm above. Additionally, each individual can electrically adjust their headboard to their comfort. There is a wardrobe with two-tone door and chrome trim, telescopic island bed wardrobe hanging rail and a sliding storage drawer on the front of the bed, all of which provide useful space for clothing items. Side backlit storage acloves have USB and 12v outlets, whilst a television point is on the nearside and has the connections present, should you wish to install one. Lighting to the area is faultless, with natural and artificial sources provided in very good numbers.

Washroom

Again, Rapido's designers have thought long and hard about the perfect washroom setup, and the I1090 certainly achieves that. There is a quality sliding door section which separates the area from the kitchen area. A door on the nearside folds across and encloses the area from the bedroom, otherwise you have an en-suite setup. The Thetford C260 electric flush swivel toilet is located on the nearside of the Distinction, in it's own area. Storage spaces can be found above, with a gloss white cupboard drawer offering particularly useful space. Opposite there is a Thermoformed rectangular basin with wall-mounted brass mixer tap and ceramic cartridge. Towel rails have rear convectors, whilst a clothes drying rack and opaque sky-light with flyscreen can all be found. The XL shower cubicle has a double glass door and premium chrome fittings. A baby blue mood light provides a very nice touch.
