Exterior

This stunning 2024 Auto-Trail Comanche is a luxurious six berth motorhome, housing an overcab bed, front lounge and a fixed island bed to the rear. For the 2024 season, Auto-Trail made some excellent enhancements, making the Frontier range one of, if not the best built British motorhomes on the market. Externally, the Comanche stands out from the rest, with distinctive Auto-Trail graphics and a metallic black cab finish. All new 16" Fiat alloy wheels provide a sleek touch, whilst daytime running lights are fitted as standard. On the nearside you have a high security entrance door with central locking, along with an electric operated step, which is also integrated into the central locking. Above you have a Thule Omnistor roll out awning, which is neatly built into the contstruction of the motorhome. The underslung gas locker is located on the nearside, just behind the passengers cab door. To the rear of the Frontier you have a reversing camera, as well as the Frontier's iconic easy access spare wheel. External specification is completed on the roof, where you will find a Truma habitation air conditioning unit and a solar panel.

Cab Area

The internal design of the Comanche is truly stunning and represents everything that is Auto-Trail. The quality of the woodwork is second to none, whilst the Layla leather upholstery scheme oozes comfort and luxury. Taking a look at the front cab area you will see that twin height adjustable seats are housed, both of which have the ability to swivel and add to the lounge facility just behind. Auto-Trail stitching is embroidered into the captain chairs, to provide that extra touch. Specification levels are as expected, very high. You have: brushed alloy effect techno dash, ABS, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, leather multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, cab air conditioning, multi-function trip computer, digital clock, folding tablet/smartphone holder to dashboard and a air-con cooled water bottle storage. This example has been fitted with the Media Plus Pack, which consists of a touchscreen multimedia system, including motorhome specific European satellite navigation, bluetooth connectivity and DAB. Additionally, you get a colour reversing camera, which is also integrated into the touchscreen head unit. The base vehicle of this Frontier is the optional Fiat Ducato 180 Multijet II Euro 6D, which is further enhanced with the fully automatic 9 speed gearbox, which provides three different driving modes. This example has covered just 7,940 miles from new.

Above the cab area you have your first sleeping arrangement within a double bed. The quality of the mattress is excellent and assures a fantastic night's sleep. A huge overhead skylight feeds the area with an abundance of natural light and fresh ventilation when required, whilst two LED spot lights are found on the nearside and provide ambience to the area when it is darker. For access there is a ladder, which fixes into designated slots. The mattress can retract and extend in order to create more headroom within the living space when not in use.

Lounge

Moving to the lounge you have twin facing settees, offering high levels of comfort and relaxation space. With the addition of the front cab seats rotating, eight can easily be accommodated. For dining there is a circular table and boom arm, whilst a large free standing table can be utilised for larger meals. Storage is provided within overhead lockers and space beneath the seating, whilst the selection of LED lighting provides a cosy feel throughout. Above the habitation door you have the touchscreen control panel to operate the functions throughout, along with the Alde heating panel. To complete the area you have the ability to configure an additional double bed. Sections extend out and the cushions fold down accordingly, creating a comfortable configuration.

Kitchen

The kitchen is centrally located and split into two sections, creating a more user friendly cooking experience. Domestic style worktops and an illuminated splash back provide a sleek touch to the area, whilst appliances are located conveniently and are of the highest quality. You have a Thetford Caprice full sized oven/grill unit, with a flush fitting three burner hob and electric hotplate integrated above. To the left there is an Inset sink with flush-fitting cover and dedicated sink cover storage. Opposite there is a dual-fuel Thetford fridge and separate freezer, whilst a Russell Hobbs microwave unit is neatly stored in a cupboard above. Dedicated cutlery storage facilities finish the list of specification.

Bedroom

Moving to the rear of the Comanche, you will enter into the sumptuous bedroom, which houses a fixed island bed. Again, the quality of the mattress is excellent and assures a comfortable night's sleep. The area is perfectly lit and provides a cosy atmosphere to occupants. Steps either-side ensure access to the bed is effortless, whilst storage is provided in very good numbers. Wardrobes either-side, overhead lockers and drawers are all very handy. Side windows allow plenty of natural light to flow through, along with a Heki above.

Washroom

The central washroom is situated between the kitchen and main bedroom area, and can be segregated off, allowing an en-suite style setup. On the nearside you have a Thetford electric flush swivel toilet, along with the vanity unit, which has a chrome mixer tap. Directly opposite is the separate shower arrangement, which again has chrome fittings.
