Having previously been sold by ourselves, Serenity Leisure are proud to present this truly stunning 2012 Concorde D-Liner 890G, which houses an electrically operated drop down overcab bed, spacious front lounge, huge central washroom, fixed island bed to the rear and garage designated to house a Smart Fortwo car. Concorde needs no introduction, they are without a doubt one of, if not the most premium offering on the market. What makes this example so sought after and desirable is the fact that you have the ability to drive it on a C1 license, without having to take a HGV add on. Starting with the external design of this impressive motorhome, you will see that the graphics scheme is beautfiully coordinated, whilst coach-style wingmirrors offer excellent vision when driving. LED daytime running lights are fitted, whilst you also have dual-xenon headlights with a cleaning system. The habitation door is found on the offside and has a touchscreen padlock system integrated, allowing you to lock/unlock the motorhome with a digital code. For easy access into the Concorde there is a dual electric step, which neatly folds into the construction when not in use. Above there is a Thule Omnistor 6m electric roll out awning, which is operated from a remote and creates an outdoor living space. Two lockers can also be found on the offside, one revealing a large underfloor storage space (also accessed from the nearside) and the other containing all of the electrical elements, including the charger unit, electric winch isolation switch and electric hook-up point. On the nearside there are an abundance of lockers containing more storage and access to fittings, such as the Truma Saphir Comfort 2400W habitation air conditioning unit. The gas locker contains a fully fitted refillable Gaslow system, with 2 x 11Kg cylinders. E&P hydraulic self-levelling is fitted and provides excellent stability when on uneven surfaces, whilst rear axle suspension is fitted and proves very useful when driving onto ferries. To the rear of the 890G you will find a reversing camera and one of the main highlights of this layout, within the huge garage facility, which is able to house a Smart Fortwo car. This proves very handy when in Europe, as there is a legislation in place where cars must be placed on a trailer when being towed. With the 890G you simply place the ramps down and use the electronic winch to pull the car into the secure, heated garage. To complete the list of external specification you have a roof-mounted Oyster self-seeking satellite system and two huge solar panels.
Internally the Concorde is second to none. The highest quality of furniture construction has been applied, with luxurious Sandstone leather upholstery and fine finished oak. Taking a look at the cab area you immediately notice the exceptional headroom and space on offer. The cabin concept is also exemplary. The original drivers cabin unit, including all safety features has been raised and also moved forward. In this way, more floor space is created throughout the motorhome. Due to this modification of the chassis, the cab seats are also fitted at a higher level and significantly nearer the windscreen, ensuring optimum all-round vision and a view of the road surface at a distance of less than three meters. In terms of driving specification, you have: ABS, power steering, cruise control and cab air conditioning. Other specification includes electrically operated wingmirrors, a radio system, reversing camera screen and blinds which enclose on each window, including an electric one for the front window. The base vehicle is the excellent Iveco Daily 70C17 3.0 Euro 5 diesel, twin rear wheel drive, with a 6 speed automatic gearbox, providing efficient fuel economy and power when required. This Concorde has covered just 39,500 miles from new.
Above the cab area you have your first sleeping arrangement within an electrically operated drop down bed. Operated from a switch above the offside sofa, the bed lowers to an easily accessible height and provides an excellent night's sleep, thanks to a premium mattress and the Lattoflex spring system. For ambience there is a spot light, whilst a Heki roof-light provides a natural source of light and fresh air when desired.
Moving into the lounge area you will see that you have a large L-shaped settee and a side sofa, which when accompanied by the cab seats rotating offers a fantastic social setup. The forward facing section of the L-shape is equipped with two three point seat-belts, taking the total to four. The area is sumptuously lit with natural light sources whilst an assortment of LED lighting options provide the area with ambience when it is darker. For dining there is a high quality table fitted on a strut, whilst storage facilities can all be found within overhead lockers and space beneath the seating. Entering through the habitation door you will find a glass cabinet on the left hand side, containing wine glasses, etc. When in warmer climates, the 2400W Truma Saphir Comfort air-conditioning system proves most sumptuous. This innovative system is hidden away and provides cold air through ventilation points, instead of the roof-mounted option. The main control panel for the motorhome is found above the habitation door and has the heating system, toilet and other main functions integrated. Above that you have the box for the satellite system, which is wired to the Avtex television unit, located within the lounge area.
The kitchen is centrally located within the D-Liner and offers an easy cooking experience. On the nearside you have a three burner hob with a glass cover, along with a large sink, which is equipped with twin taps. Storage levels are excellent, you have drawers, lockers and cupboards with designated shelving. Directly opposite is the Dometic microwave oven unit, neatly integrated into the 175 litre Dometic dual-fuel fridge freezer unit, which rounds off the list of kitchen equipment.
The rear bedroom offers the upmost level of comfort and luxury. Entering through, you will find the premium fixed island bed, fitted with a hugely comfortable mattress, which assures a fantastic night's sleep. Overhead lockers are very useful for storage, along with his and hers wardrobes either-side. Lighting is provided through side windows and a large roof-light, whilst succulent LED lighting options provide ambience when it is darker. An additional television unit is fitted to the area and provides entertainment. A wooden door can slide across if you wish, secluding the bedroom area from the rest of the motorhome.
The washroom area is located between the kitchen and bedroom. Split into two sections, the washroom also has a sliding door to separate the area from the rest of the motorhome, creating an en-suite. The 890G incorporates a much more sophisticated toilet system than the traditional Thetford setup. A separate tank is linked with the control panel, allowing you to monitor levels. The toilet itself has multi-functions and is finished in ceramic, providing a premium touch. The shower unit is far different to those in other motorhomes, offering very good levels of space and power. The wash basin is another highlight and is found directly opposite. Lots of storage space can be found within the washroom area too, concluding this beautiful motorhome.
