This 2013 Dethleffs Esprit I7090 is a luxurious four berth motorhome, housing a drop down overcab bed, front lounge with travelling seats and a fixed bed towards the rear. Dethleffs have become one of the most reputable manufacturers within the industry, with their extreme level of attention to detail and striking designs. Externally, the appearance of the I7090 is very well proportioned. A neat graphics scheme combines well with the body-shape, whilst both the front and rear lights are very well suited. The nearside has a cab entrance door, whilst other elements such as the 240v hook-up point, water inlet point and the Thetford toilet locker are also located on this side. There is a storage locker towards the rear too. Moving over to the offside you will find a Thule roll out awning, creating an outdoor living space when desired. Additional storage lockers, including a vertical one towards the rear, provide plenty of space for accessories, whilst the habitation door has an LED awning light and a electric Omni-Step below. The gas cylinder locker is located to the right and comes equipped with a Gaslow system. Moving to the rear of the Esprit you will find that a Fiamma Bike has been fitted, with the ability to house four cycles. A Reversing camera can be found above. The list of exterior specification continues on the roof, where you will find twin solar panels fitted along with an automatic satellite system.
Internally the Dethleffs is beautifully crafted, with premium fixtures and plush furnishings. A huge benefit to A-Class cabs is the abundance of space you get, along with the excellent vision you receive when on the road. The twin seats offer high levels of comfort, and also have to ability to swivel around, adding to the lounge facility behind. Equipment levels are very good too, you have: ABS, power steering, cruise control, cab air conditioning, electric passenger window, 2 x 12v sockets, cab blinds and a multimedia system with the reversing camera integrated. The base vehicle is the Fiat Ducato 2.3Jtd, which has covered just 12,700 miles from new.
Above the cab area is a drop down double bed, which has a hugely comfortable mattress fitted. Wrap around blinds ensure privacy is provided and there are also curtains either side, which meet in the middle. A Heki roof-light supplies natural ambience and fresh air when desired, whilst there is a ladder to aid access onto the bed.
The lounge area is well thought-out, with a L-shaped settee and a side facing sofa. With the addition of the front cab seats rotating, you are presented with a sociable configuration. The forward facing section of the L-shape settee is equipped with two three-point seat-belts, whilst the dining table is adjustable. Storage can be found within overhead lockers, as well as space beneath the seating and there are very good levels of both natural and artificial ambience. Control panels for functions throughout the motorhome along with the satellite system panel can all be found above the habitation door.
Dethleffs have done an exceptional job in the kitchen area of the I7090. The 'Gourmet Center' as they have named it, houses high quality appliances which ensure an easy cooking experience. There is a Thetford Duplex oven/grill unit on the left hand side, whilst the sink and hob are located above and are integrated into the same unit. To the right there is a handy bin unit, along with a couple of 230v sockets, which prove very useful for additional appliances, such as a kettle. Storage facilities are provided through lockers, cupboards and drawers, whilst a full sized, dual fuel Dometic fridge freezer is found opposite, and has a wooden cover to match the surroundings.
Again, the bedroom area is very well configured and offers plenty of designated storage space for clothing. The hugely comfortable double mattress assures a fantastic nights sleep, whilst the surrounding wood finish is sumptuously lit by both natural and artificial sources. Additional storage space can be found beneath the double bed, which lifts up via air struts. A locker above contains a television unit, which is fitted onto a sliding bracket.
The door to the right of the bed opens to reveal the washroom arrangement. Inside there is a Thetford C250 electric flush toilet, along with a stainless steel sink to the right, which has a chrome mixer tap and a vanity unit below. The separate shower unit is on the left hand side and is impressively sized. Folding doors, chrome fittings and dual drainers are equipped with the unit, and there is also a roof-light to ventilate the washroom.
