A quality conversion throughout, this 2015 Ford Transit campervan has the ability to house up to four and comes equipped with a pop up roof, as well as a rock and roll bed. The conversion itself was completed in March 2019. Externally, this example has been fitted with the M-Sport body-kit, which combines excellently with Calibre alloy wheels and creates a striking appearance. The rear doors open to a 180 degree angle and reveal a seat, along with storage facilities. Below you have the 230v hook-up point. Glass windows all round are excellent for insulation, whilst you have sliding doors on each side of the conversion. Parking sensors are fitted to both the front and rear.
As part of the conversion, this Transit has been fitted with a premium two tone leather upholstery scheme, which has an excellent combination with the furnishings and fittings. The front cab area has a triple seat configuration, providing high levels of comfort on journeys. Equipment levels are good too, you have: ABS, power steering, start/stop technology, electric windows and mirrors, 12v socket, multi-function steering wheel and a radio player with bluetooth phone connectivity, with audio function too. The base vehicle is the Ford Transit Custom 270 Eco-Tech, which has covered just 49,850 miles from new.
Lounge + Sleeping
Moving to the habitation area you will find a forward facing seat, equipped with two additional three-point seat belts, taking the total travelling capacity to five. There is an adjustable table for dining purposes and you also have an impressive level of storage space, found beneath the seating and within cupboards on the offside. With the option of having both sliding doors open along with the rear doors, you will have plenty of fresh air flowing through when desired. Each window in the habitation area has grey curtains, which neatly coordinate with the colour scheme and provide privacy at night.
When it comes to sleeping, up to four can be housed. The seating in the back will convert into a rock and roll style bed. A lever is located below and will release the seat, allowing it to fold down and become a comfortable sleeping arrangement for two. The fuirther sleeping arrangement is found within the pop-up roof, with fill in sections provided, creating a platform above the habitation area.
The kitchen has been fitted out with high quality appliances and also has a very good level of storage. There is a Dometic grill unit neatly integrated into the woodwork, whilst a stainless steel sink and two burner hob are above and have glass covers for protection. A Dometic fridge freezer unit is found below and remains unused. For power outlets there is a pull up extension point, equipped with three sockets and two USB points.
