Exterior

Niesmann + Bischoff, part of the Hymer Group, have a track record of building some of the finest A-class motorhomes available in Europe today. The Arto 64 GL was an all-new for the 2010 model season. It’s built on the Fiat Ducato 35L/AL-KO chassis with a double floor, and engineered down in weight so it can be driven by anyone with a normal car licence. Externally the 64GL stands out with a coordinating graphics scheme and alloy wheels. Coah-style wind-mirrors provide excellent rear vision when driving, whilst the body-shape of the Niesmann is aero-dynamic. The habitation door is located on the offside of the motorhome, and has an electric dual Omni-Step below for easy access inside. Above there is an Omnistor roll out awning to create an outdoor living space when desired. The gas locker is underslung and found on the right hand side of the habitation door. The rear garage can be accessed either-side of the Arto, with the large fold up door found on the offside. A hard wearing floor proves very useful, whilst the garage is also very well insulated. To complete the exterior you have a detachable tow-bar, along with a reversing camera above.

Cab Area

Internally the Bischoff is excellently designed. Carpeted roof-lining provides a sense of luxury, whilst half-leather upholstery offers very good levels of comfort throughout. The front cab area houses twin seats, both of which have the ability to rotate and add to the lounge facility just behind. Vision on the road is excellent, with very few blind spots. Equipment levels are very good too, you have: ABS, power steering, cruise control, cab air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, electrically operated front blind, 2 x 12v sockets and a multimedia system with the reversing camera integrated. The base vehicle of the Arto is the Fiat Ducato 2.3Jtd, which has covered just 33,950 miles from new.

Above the cab area you have a drop down double bed, built with a hugely comfortable mattress. A mini Heki provides good levels of lighting and ventilation, whilst a net slots above and prevents occupants from falling out.

Lounge

Twin side facing bench seats make up the lounge configuration. With the addition of the front seats rotating you have a sociable setup. For dining there is a quality wooden table, whilst storage can be found within overhead lockers and space beneath the seating. Entertainment to the area is provided through a television unit, found on your left as you enter through the habitation door.

Kitchen

The kitchen area is positioned centrally and on the nearside of the motorhome. There is a three burner hob on the left hand side, with a stainless steel sink to the right, equipped with a chrome mixer tap. Both the hob and sink have glass covered. Below there is a Dometic fridge freezer unit, whilst storage facilities can be found within overhead lockers and drawers to the right of the fridge unit.

Bedroom

The fixed transverse bed is the highlight of the 64GL's layout. Built with a hugely comfortable mattress, occupants are assured of a great night's sleep. Windows either-side and a Heki provide natural light plus ventilation, whilst overhead lockers surround the area and are ideal for storage of clothing items.

Washroom

The washroom area is positioned between the kitchen and the bedroom and is very well thought-out. The door has the ability to swap places and fit just behind the kitchen, creating an en suite style layout for the bedroom area. This proves very useful for occupants who can then use the area for changing. The wash basin is located on the offside and has a chrome mixer tap, along with a vanity unit below. To the left there is a large wardrobe. Moving over to the nearside you will find a Thetford C250 electric flush swivel toilet. When you wish to use the shower, the toilet has the ability to fold away into the garage, creating more floor space. The shower itself has chrome fittings, a folding door and a roof-light for ventilation.
