Having previously been sold by ourselves, this 2020 Rapido M96 is a luxurious 4 berth motorhome, housing a drop down overcab bed, front lounge, fixed island bed to the rear and a garage. Rapido and Mercedes have always been a brilliant match, even the earlier models are extremely popular to this day. In 2020 Rapido reintroduced the Benz chassis and it has proved to be one of the most sought after A classes on the market. Externally the front cab is striking, with LED daytime running lights and a streamlined body-shape. 16" alloy wheels compliment the look further, whilst the habitation door is found on the offside, and is integrated into the central locking system, with an electric entrance step located below. Above you have a Fiamma F45 awning, which is an option on these. The large garage to the rear is accessible on both sides of the motorhome, whilst the island bed has the ability to raise/lower, thus creating more space within the garage. External specification on this example extends to a roof-mounted solar panel, reversing camera and a SMART inverter, proving particularly useful when wild camping.

Internally the M96 has been very well thought-out and consists of high quality. The cab area is spacious and premium, thanks to the Mercedes specification. A leather multi-function steering wheel is accompanied with paddle shifts, whilst start/stop technology improves efficiency considerably. The multimedia screen is user friendly and very responsive, housing satellite navigation, bluetooth connectivity, reversing camera image, amongst other features. The base vehicle is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 177bhp, configured with the 9G tronic automatic gearbox. This example has covered just 18,900 miles from new. Cab blinds enclose the area at night, whilst the seats will swivel when required and add to the lounge facility behind. High quality leather upholstery is fitted throughout.

The lounge area is just behind and houses twin facing bench seats, with a large folding dining table positioned between the two. An Avtex television is fitted on the left as you enter through the habitation door, whilst heating and main controls are found above. The seats are belted, allowing four to travel in total.

The kitchen is centrally positioned, on the nearside. Equipment levels are good, you have an oven/grill combi, with a three burner hob and stainless steel sink above. A digital extractor fgan removes cooking smells, whilst useful storage solutions are present. Directly opposite there is a Thetford dual-fuel fridge freezer unit.

The washroom is split into two sections, which works excellently as you can section the area off from the rest of the motorhome, creating an en-suite. On the offside there is a Thetford electric flush swivel toilet, along with the wash basin, which has a chrome mixer tap and vanity unit below. Above is additional storage and a mirror, as well as a heki roof-light. Directly opposite is the separate shower unit, which features chrome fittings and mood lighting.

When it comes to sleeping you have two excellent setups. The highlight being the island bed to the rear, which is spacious and comfortable. As mentioned before, the bed has the ability to raise/lower. Storage is provided in large numbers, with wardrobes, overhead lockers and drawers present. An additional television is fitted to the area, and lighting to the area is definitley not lacked. To the front of the M96 you have the secondary sleeping arrangement within a large drop down overcab bed.
