Exterior

This 2017 Swift Kon-Tiki 679 is a luxurious four berth motorhome, housing a generous front lounge, fixed transverse bed to the rear and a large garage. The Kon-Tiki range has forever been Swift's flagship model and features a high level of specification, making it one of the most premium motorhomes available on the market. Externally, the 679 has a pleasing external look, featuring colour-coded front bumpers to match the metallic cab, as well as LED daytime running lights. A black front grille and 16in alloy wheels round off the look very well. Taking a look on the nearside you will see that there is a fully reinforced habitation door with central locking fitted. An electric Omni-Step slides out below and is also integrated into the central locking system. Above is a Fiamma F45 roll out awning, creating an outdoor living space when desired. The large garage is accessed either-side of the motorhome and can easily house a motorbike if desired. Moving to the back of the 679 you will find that a fully reinforced tow-bar has been fitted, along with a dual-lense reversing camera. Other external specification includes automatic self-levelling, a satellite system, Gaslow system, twin solar panels and habitation air conditioning.

Cab Area

The interior of the 679 is beautifully crafted, with high quality fixtures and fittings along with a premium upholstery scheme. Taking a look at the front cab area you will see that twin seats are housed, offering very high levels of comfort on journeys. Each one has the ability to swivel, comes equipped with two armrests and is fitted with position, height and rake adjustment. Equipment levels are very good too, you have: ABS, power steering, cruise control, air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, a leather multi-function steering wheel, radio player (with phone connectivity), 2 x 12v sockets, USB points, Remis cab blinds, dash cam and a rear-view mirror style reversing camera screen. The base vehicle of the Kon-Tiki is the Fiat Ducato 2.3 180 Multijet, which has covered just 18,600 miles from new.

Lounge

The exceptional front lounge is another huge asset to the 679's layout and consists of an L-shape settee and a side sofa. The forward facing section of the L-shaped settee comes equipped with two three-point seat-belts each, taking the total number of travelling seats to four. The area is very well laid out, and with the addition of the front seats rotating you can easily sit eight within the area. For dining there is a circular snacking table, whilst a larger freestanding table is found for larger meals. Storage facilities can be found within overhead lockers and space beneath the seating. Due to the Kon-Tiki benefitting from the Alde central heating system, the 679 can be used all year round. To complete, you have the ability to configure an additional double bed. The table lowers and the cushions fold down, creating a comfortable setup.

Kitchen

As expected from a motorhome of this quality, the level of kitchen specification is very high. You have a full sized oven/grill unit, with a three burner hob and electric hotplate integrated above. An extractor fan is fitted too and proves very useful for removing cooking smells. A sink unit can be found above, whilst a stainless steel microwave is situated at eye height. There is also a huge Dometic dual-fuel fridge freezer unit, which has a gloss black cover to coordinate with the interior design. To complete, you have an abundance of storage facilities within cupboards, lockers and drawers.

Bedroom

The fixed rear transverse bed is fitted with a highly comfortable Duvalay mattress, to assure an excellent night's sleep. There are steps to allow easy access to the bed, whilst storage facilities are found within a wardrobe, drawers and cupboards. Access to the garage can be made here too. LED lighting provides ambience to the area, whilst an additional television unit can be found.

Washroom

The central washroom is designed with the more popular 'separate shower' layout. Entering through the door you will find a Thetford C260 electric flush swivel toilet, situated on the left. The wash basin is located centrally and has a chrome mixer tap, vanity unit and a LED lit mirror. On the far right hand side is the spacious shower unit, complete with a folding door and chrome fittings. As part of the Alde wet central heating system, you have a radiator within the washroom area.
